What is your background?
I was born in Queens, New York and lived there for the first two years of my life. Shortly after my family moved out to Long Island and I have lived here ever since. I am 17 years old and will begin my senior year at Jericho High School in the fall. I enjoy volunteering, traveling, playing with animals, and eating!
Why are you passionate about helping others?
I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their passions and experience healthy development. Many individuals experience various forms of disadvantage, so I feel that it is important to help individuals in my community with the resources that I have available. Being kind and helping others is a simple task that is extremely rewarding and fulfilling.
What excites you most about your summer internship with Faces in Between?
I am so excited to work with Danielle Levin. I am eager to learn from her and gain experience working with her and the rest of her team. I am also super excited to work with this organization because what they stand for and all they do for the community is so amazing.
